One of the best restaurants on the Wasatch Front - Tiburon Fine Dining

When first driving past this restaurant, you wouldn't realize how great this restaurant really is. It was built on an old fruit stand but is far more then what meets the eye. The food here is exquisite and the cost aren't too bad.

I love their crab cakes. I can't express how much I love these crab cakes. But everything on the menu that I have tasted is well worth the cost. So if you are near the south end of the Salt Lake Valley, stop by and enjoy. Tiburon Fine Dining

Sometimes the only fish in town

Though McGrath's is not usually type of restaurant that I would put on this blog but I am making an exception. I have been too quite a few towns where this is the best food in town and this chain is currently in danger.

I have recently found out that this chain has entered into Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and each restaurant has been put into a make it or break it type situation. If the individual stores are unable to make their rent or other financial responsibilities, the individual stores will close. So this is the time to show your patronage and give the McGrath's your business.

It's times for Steaks

Now, there is nothing like a good steakhouse for a guy to feel like he is on the top of the food chain once again. Nothing like tearing into a nice cut of steak and the smell filling your nose to bring forth the night on the town.

Spencer's Steaks are a good high class chain that I have recently gone to a few major cities that I am quite happy in. They seem to keep the quality of their food up across the board and making you feel like a king for the night.

One night in Manhattan... Sardi's

This landmark restaurant has been a hot spot in the theater district since the 1920s and still keeps it prominence today. During its long life in the middle of the nation's premier stage production district, this reigns as one of the top restaurants for the producers and directors of the top shows.

You can feel the ambiance of the history of this restaurant. There is a regal presence will make anyone you take to this restaurant feel like they are a million bucks will there. Make the night complete by hitting a show right after, you deserve it.

A worthy holiday dinner after the holiday

Well, it’s that time of year again, time for Thanksgiving and Black Friday, the two busiest days of my life. One day I spent cooking and eating the greatest food on Earth, then I have a midday nap and I get ready to stand out in the cold so that I can get amazing shopping deals. Now, if you are like me, you won’t want to cook for about a week after this blessed holiday. I don’t blame you at all; in fact I have a plan. My master plan this year is to get gift certificates that at a discount on sites like citydeals or others and then use them for restaurants the rest of the week. If I am not going to be making dinner for a little while, as I recoup I don’t want to pay full price. Also, around this holiday, I have noticed the nicer restaurant seem to be less crowded which adds to a more private dinner, which I enjoy

A reason to feel like a million bucks

It is you and your lady's special night and you want it to be perfect. You have put some put some effort into the night and your planning is going to pay off. You are dressed up, you have some nice play tickets and now you need the glue that holds the night together, the dinner.

If you want to do this right, do some research online. Between the Zagat guide and other online sites, you can get a pretty good idea what restaurants are serving and their price. Also, ask for recommendations from co-workers and friends, a great deal of restaurants fall under the radar because they don't have the advertising budgets of larger restaurants.

Once at the restaurant, don't worry about the price. Being a penny pincher at a dinner like this, will lead nowhere but to catastrophe. Make sure that you have set aside enough money and just take in the ambiance of the night and enjoy. Make it a night that you and your significant other will remember fondly.
